BioReliance Acquires CynerGene LLC
Enters market to provide pharmacogenomic testing services to drug developers.

Rockville, Maryland, USA, April 8, 2010 – BioReliance announced today that it has acquired CynerGene LLC, a privately held provider of harmacogenomic testing services. CynerGene is currently based in Frederick, Maryland. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

CynerGene, established in 2006, is a GLP compliant laboratory focused on providing testing services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic and government clients. BioReliance plans to retain all CynerGene employees and to relocate the business to its Rockville, Maryland laboratories.
